Here’s the problem: most IP65 waterproof heaters are built as one giant, sealed block. Sure, that keeps the dust and water out, but it turns replacing a burnt-out element into a total nightmare. We got tired of that, so we changed how these things are built. The beauty of going modular In a typical fixed-tube setup, one failing element can ruin your whole day. You end up dismantling the entire housing or messing around with the junction box just to fix one small part. We decided to treat the infrared element like a drop-in part. If a tube burns out after five years of hard work, you don’t rip out the whole unit. You just swap that one specific module. It turns a multi-hour headache into a few minutes of work. No fighting with stubborn gaskets. No wrestling with permanent seals. You just pop the old one out and slide a new one in. It’s that simple. Keeping it waterproof (without the stress) Now, keeping an IP65 seal while making parts “swappable” is tricky. It takes some real precision. We use compression-fit seals that keep the water out, but they don’t require those annoying permanent adhesives. One thing to keep in mind: high-density infrared heat makes metal expand. A lot. Because our frame is modular, the elements actually have room to breathe. If you cram these into a tight, rigid chassis, the tubes will stress and crack way too soon.
