Here is the thing about infrared lamps: if the wattage or voltage is off, you’re asking for trouble. You’ll either blow a fuse or end up with glass that isn’t hot enough to work with. We build these to your exact footprint. Whether you’re running 230V or 400V, we tweak the filament length and diameter until the wattage is spot on. Now, a quick heads-up: high-wattage tubes are great for rapid melting, but they put a lot of pressure on your power supplies. We only use high-purity quartz glass. Why? Because batch furnace cycles are brutal, and you need something that won’t crack under thermal shock.
