What’s under the hood
We went with a carbon fiber infrared element because it heats up fast and gives you steady, even radiant output. The unit runs at 1500W, enough to keep a 10–12 ft patio zone comfortable on cool nights. It’s designed for standard 120V power, so it plugs into a typical outdoor outlet—no special wiring. A built-in thermostat keeps the comfort level steady, and tip-over protection adds a practical safety layer. The housing is finished in weather-resistant materials and carries an IP34 rating, so it’s protected against splashing water and the usual outdoor conditions.

Set it up right

And while the heater is rated for outdoor use, keep it under cover—out of heavy rain and direct water spray. That protects the power connection and internal components over time, and keeps the unit doing its job season after season.
