You need the heat to be exactly right—not too hot, or you scorch the fabric; not too cool, and it just doesn&rsquo;t set. For a long time, we&rsquo;ve relied on standard quartz IR lamps. They’re basically &ldquo;dumb&rdquo; heat sources. You flip the switch, the filament glows, and you just cross your fingers that the PID controller is doing its job to keep things stable. But we&rsquo;re changing that. We&rsquo;re moving toward IoT lamps that can actually talk to the machine&rsquo;s PLC.</p>
